No, the figures aren't current because the NRA opposes keeping data on gun show sales. You're so **** cute. Because I worded something one way in one post and sligh...

Gun show loophole. Google it. I find it amazing you're just not seeing it. Lemme see if I can make it clearer. There are laws in place that prohibit a felon from owning, possessing and acquiring firearms. Felons still acquire them. So pass another law. And they'll still acquire them....

Maybe you should talk to Wayne LaPierre about that. 40% of the weapons sold are sold with no backround checks at all, thanks to things like the gun show loophole, which the NRA fights to keep in effect, even though 74% of NRA members believe that loophole needs to be closed. Never mind the numbers...

Gun show loophole. Google it. and what good would it do to close the loophole? if an individual purchase is going to happen outside the set-up booths of the show, they could easily just make the deal verbally and then walk across the street and make the actual exchange. having security in the build...

They aren't "current" because they aren't correct. No, the figures aren't current because the NRA opposes keeping data on gun show sales. And don't think I didn't see that little slight of hand. Your first statement was "40% of the weapons sold are sold with no backround checks at all", and now that ...

Hello! I'm a Liberal. Never denied that fact. That's just it. There is no law requiring a backround check for guns bought on the secondary market (gun shows, internet, private sales...etc.). That's not the point. It is illegal for a convicted felon to possess a firearm. That is the point....

Thing I haven't heard is a responce from you about my compromise. Oh sure you jump all over the background check deal but no mention of expanding and making federal conceal carry laws. So very liberal of you. Very standard liberal MO.Hello! I'm a Liberal. Never denied that fact.MistyBlue, on 27 Dec ...
